Yes Sir, Yes Sir Three Bags Full

Hi everyone, here goes nothing. My first venture into the wide world of blogging. I'll try to keep everyone posted here with goings on at the store, recent finished projects, works in progress, what my kids are doing to destroy the store, new yarns, and other fun things.

Here's my various works in progress:

This is the Stormwater Shawl- I'm making it with Handmaiden SeaSilk Yarn which is incredibly silky to work with, size 4 needles b/c couldn't get gauge with recommended size 6. An easy pattern but very slow going.

And yesterday, I completed a cute hat in Lornas Laces Shepherd Worsted- Child's Play and here's what it looks like today:

I ripped the whole thing out :( It was supposed to be for Kelly (age 4.5, head circ 19.5") but it would have fit a 6 mo old. She picked this yarn and colorway and wants a earflap hat. I'll try again today and see what happens.

So, eventually I would like to have a photo gallery on here with customers completed projects and my recent completed projects... I'll keep working on that.
